NOT 90Mile Beach
We oppose the installation of offshore wind turbines off the Ninety Mile Beach coastline. Reason for opposing the federal
governments Offshore Power Stations (wind-farms), is to protect and conserve the natural environment, economy,
cultural heritage and social identity of the Ninty Mile Beach.
Grassroots Groups
As is the case in all six of Bowen's declared offshore Renewable Energy Zones (REZ), communities directly impacted by these
offshore wind projects oppose them.
Resulting in the formation of dozens of GRASSROOTS GROUPS, who are joining forces to STOP THESE THINGS e.g.
RECKLESS RENEWABLES RALLY in Canberra, February 2024.
Join the Fight
The Ninety Mile Beach communities face a "David vs. Goliath" battle in opposing the federal government and those
multinational companies, who intend to exploit the Gippsland's pristien and unspoilt coastline.
